Fabulous Frankincense

Frankincense trees can provide a vital source of income in northern Ethiopia. Tree Aid works with farmers to ‘tap’ the frankincense trees, enabling them to collect the resin which is then sorted and sold. The resin is valued around the world for its use in incense and essential oils, and provides farmers with a much-needed income.
