Stories

Meet the people who work with us.

From Senegal to Ethiopia, we work with some incredible people and communities across six countries in Africa's drylands. Join us as we hear their stories, learn about their unique cultures, get to know their skills and knowledge, and discover the impact they're having on their land and communities.

BUrkina Faso

Burkina Faso, a landlocked country, is home to parts of the Sahara in the north, and dense forest and wooded savannas in the south. Most people here depend on the land to live and thrive.

Ghana

Ghana is home to varying landscapes, from coastal regions in the south to dry savannahs in the north. Many people here depend on the land to live and thrive. But Ghana’s climate is changing fast.

Ethiopia

Ethiopia is a country in East Africa, home to highlands, plateaus and dry forests. Most people here depend on the land for survival.

Mali

Mali is home to hot, dry landscapes — from the Sahara in the north to grassy plainlands in the south. Most people here depend on natural resources to survive.
